Vertigo is a chronic disease commonly occurring in the elderly,which is often accompanied by cardiovascular,cerebrovascular diseases or other basic diseases.Professor Liu Jianhong believes that the main pathogenesis of senile vertigo is spleen deficiency as root,and phlegm and blood stasis as the superficiality.The use of Wendan Decoction combined with Tongqiao Huoxue Decoction in treatment has shown better clinical efficacy.This article summarized Professor Liu Jianhong's experience in dealing with senile vertigo using Wendan Decoction and Tongqiao Huoxue Decoction,hoping to provide reference for clinical treatment of senile vertigo.
