Research Status of Iridium Dissolution and Liquid Production Technology
With the continuous progress of technology and economic level in China,the demand for iridium in high-precision and cutting-edge fields has been increasing year by year.However,the primary mineral resources of iridium are extremely scarce,and efficient recovery of iridium from secondary resources is of great significance.Among them,the efficient dissolution and liquid production of iridium is a major challenge in the industry,which seriously restricts the development of the iridium recovery industry.This paper reviews the dissolution and liquid production technologies of iridium,including metal activation method,alkali melting method,pressure digestion method,and electrochemical dissolution method,and systematically analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of various dissolution technologies.The existing technology has problems such as low dissolution efficiency,excessive return of materials,and high energy consumption,and developing green,efficient,and energy-saving dissolution and liquid production technology is the research direction of future iridium dissolution technology.
