Types,Distribution,and Treatment Methods of New Pollutants in Water
In recent years,people have been studying various new pollutants,mainly from the pharmaceutical,personal care products,hormone,and fertilizer industries.Most newly emerging pollutants do not have standardized guidelines,and even at low concentrations,they may have adverse effects on humans and the ecological environment.At present,the new pollutants that are widely concerned internationally mainly include environmental endocrine disruptors,persistent organic pollutants,antibiotics,and microplastics.Based on the types and distribution of new pollutants,this paper reviews the treatment methods for new pollutants in water,in order to effectively remove them and protect the ecological environment.
