Impact of Eco-environment Protection Inspection on Intergovernmental Collaboration——Taking Gansu Province as an Example
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,China has placed the construction of ecological civilization at the core of its national strategy and comprehensively strengthened the protection of the ecological environment.However,issues such as intergovernmental collaboration,information sharing,and incentive mechanisms limit the effective implementation of environmental policies.This study delves into the practical role of eco-environment protection inspection in solving the problems of information asymmetry and incentive mechanisms in Gansu Province,and reveals the ways in which the inspection mechanism reduces information asymmetry,optimizes incentives,and strengthens accountability through empirical analysis,thereby improving government and corporate behavior and enhancing the quality of the ecological environment.
