Research on the Delineation of Atmospheric Environmental Risk Protection Zones for Urban Petrochemical Enterprises
With the accelerating process of urbanization, the scope of urban land has expanded from the central urban area to the outside, and petrochemical enterprises originally located in the suburbs have begun to integrate with the city, and the vacant land surrounding petrochemical enterprises has been developed into densely populated areas such as residential areas, commercial areas, and living areas, leading to the emergence of urban petrochemical enterprises. The contradiction between urban petrochemical enterprises and surrounding residents is becoming increasingly prominent, therefore, urban petrochemical enterprises urgently need to set up sufficient risk protection areas. This study takes a newly built 120 t/h acidic water stripping unit in a petrochemical enterprise in North China as an example, and predicts the environmental risks of the project based on the environmental risk simulation program and requirements of the"Technical Guidelines for Environmental Risk Assessment of Construction Projects"(HJ 169-2018).According to the prediction results,a radius of 960 m is designated as the key area for atmospheric environmental risk protection. This study can provide reference for the implementation of risk prevention measures and preparation of emergency plans in urban petrochemical enterprises, and risk management of ecological environment departments.
