Three Dimensional Analysis of Typical Road Traffic Noise in Nanjing City
As a non-stationary and discontinuous mobile pollution source, traffic noise has an impact with wide range, long time and deep degree.Taking Nanjing City as an example, this paper analyzes typical road traffic noise from three dimensions:horizontal distribution, vertical distribution, and 24 hour continuous monitoring. The results indicate that as the horizontal distance from the slow lane increases, the day and night sound levels on non elevated roads gradually decrease;the nighttime noise of elevated roads is significantly affected by residential noise, and an increase in distance leads to a decrease in sound level;the mixed section of elevated and non elevated roads shows a certain pattern of noise level and vertical distribution changes, and there is a certain correlation between the 24 h sound source condition and vehicle flow.
