During the 14th Five-Year Plan period,China is in a critical stage of economic transformation and upgrading,as well as high-quality development.Accelerating the green and low-carbon transformation and upgrading of society is not only beneficial for optimizing industrial structure and building a high-quality economic development system,but also for addressing global climate change.Promoting clean production is a core requirement for high-quality national development,a powerful lever for establishing a sound green,low-carbon,and circular economic system,and an effective means of addressing global climate change.Since the 13th Five-Year Plan period,in order to explore the development path of clean production,Guangzhou City has launched innovative models such as the Guangzhou-Hong Kong cooperation mechanism,differentiated audit mechanism,and"clean production audit+carbon audit"mechanism,achieving phased results.This paper focuses on the Guangzhou Model of clean production,points out the problems in promoting the clean production process,and looks forward to future development directions to better promote clean production.
