Fluorite is a strategic non-metallic mineral,mainly composed of calcium fluoride,which is widely used.Taking the Menggongshan Fluorite Deposit in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County(referred to as Rongshui County)as an example,combined with the geological background of the mining area,this paper analyzes the geological characteristics of the deposit,reveals the genesis of the deposit,and clarifies the prospecting indicators.Preliminary research suggests that based on the genetic type of the deposit,the fluorite deposit belongs to a medium-low temperature hydrothermal fluorite deposit.
