Analysis of Heavy Metal Pollution in Soil and Fruits around Pan'an Lake in Xuzhou City
Taking Pan'an Lake Wetland in Xuzhou City as an example, this paper uses microwave digestion-atomic absorption spectroscopy to determine the heavy metal content(Pb,Cr,Cd)in the surrounding soil and fruits, and evaluates the heavy metal pollution status of the soil and fruits by using single factor pollution index and comprehensive pollution index. The results show that the content of Pb,Cr,and Cd in the soil around Pan'an Lake meets the secondary standard requirements of the"Soil Environmental Quality Agricultural Land Soil Pollution Risk Control Standard"(Trial)(GB 15618-2018).The single pollution index indicates that the soil has not been contaminated by heavy metals;the comprehensive pollution index is 8.2,indicating that the pollution is within the warning range. The Pb content in fruits does not exceed the standard, but there are varying degrees of exceeding the standard in Cd and Cr content, resulting in a high comprehensive pollution index.Grapes, watermelons, and cantaloupes are near the warning line, while strawberries are lightly polluted, indicating that different fruits have different abilities to accumulate heavy metals. The overall level of heavy metal pollution in the soil and fruits around Pan'an Lake in Xuzhou City is not high, but some fruits have a strong ability to accumulate heavy metals, and supervision and control should continue to be strengthened.
