With the continuous improvement of the highway network in Hubei Province,the amount of kitchen waste generated in the highway service areas continues to grow,which has put enormous pressure on pollution prevention and control in the transportation industry.Based on 26 pairs of service areas on 7 highways in Hubei Province,this paper analyzes the physical and chemical characteristics of kitchen waste in the highway service areas,investigates the current situation of generation and treatment,and compares and selects kitchen waste disposal technologies,in order to provide reference for the standardized disposal and management of kitchen waste in highway service areas in Hubei Province.
