Research on VOCs Emission Characteristics and Ozone Formation Potential of the Artificial Board Industry in Changzhou City
In order to study the emission characteristics of Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs)in the artificial board manufacturing industry in Changzhou City, based on Summa canister sampling and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry/flame ionization detector(GC-MS/FID)combined technology, this paper selects two typical artificial board production enterprises and analyzes the content and composition spectrum of VOCs in the air of their different production stages(rubber making and impregnation)workshops. The results show that 118 types of VOCs are detected, involving six major categories, namely aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons,alkanes,olefins,oxygen-containing organic compounds, and others(acetylene and carbon disulfide),among them, the VOCs concentration in the production workshop is as high as 593.71 μg/m3,with characteristic pollutants including formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, and ethyl acetate;the VOCs components in the glue making and dipping processes are almost the same, but there is a significant difference in emission concentration;Oxygen-Containing Volatile Organic Compounds(OVOCs)and aromatic hydrocarbons are the key targets that need to be controlled in the future artificial board manufacturing industry.
