Assessment on Spatiotemporal Changes of the Ecosystem Service Value in Guangxi from 2000 to 2020
In recent years, the social economy of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region(referred to as Guangxi)has steadily developed, but some factors still constrain the continuous improvement of regional ecosystem service value.Analyzing the spatiotemporal changes of ecosystem service value and ecological risk in Guangxi from 2000 to 2020,as well as their correlation, can provide reference for the protection and restoration of ecosystems in Guangxi. This paper uses the unit area equivalent factor method, ecological risk accounting model, and bivariate spatial autocorrelation analysis to calculate the ecosystem service value and ecological risk index in Guangxi from 2000 to 2020,and analyzes their spatiotemporal differentiation characteristics and correlation. The results show that the ecosystem service value in Guangxi fluctuated from 2000 to 2020,increasing from 2 524.024 billion yuan in 2000 to 2 525.156 billion yuan in 2020,with an overall increase of 0.05%.The overall ecological risk level presents a spatial pattern of high in the south and low in the north, and the area of each region shows a fluctuating trend of increase and decrease. From the perspective of quantitative correlation, there is a strong correlation between ecosystem service value and ecological risk;from the perspective of spatial correlation, the value of ecosystem services and ecological risks exhibit a clustered distribution in space, showing a significant negative correlation. The ecosystem service value in Guangxi is negatively correlated with ecological risks, and the combination study of the two can better reflect the ecological environment changes caused by human activities, providing support for ecosystem restoration and sustainable land use.
