Research Progress on the Application of Carboxymethyl Cellulose in Soil Improvement
Carboxymethyl Cellulose(CMC)is a high molecular weight polymer with good water solubility, and its potential application in soil improvement has received attention in recent years.Research has shown that CMC can increase soil porosity and water retention capacity, improve soil structure, promote plant root development, and enhance soil nutrient retention capacity.Future research needs to deeply explore the mechanism of action of CMC,evaluate the long-term impact of its application on soil and plants, analyze the economic feasibility and environmental benefits of its application in actual agricultural production, and promote its widespread application in sustainable agricultural production and soil management.
