Research Progress on High-Performance Catalysts for Hydrogen Fuel Cells
Hydrogen fuel cells are efficient and clean energy utilization and conversion devices,at present, the catalysts used in hydrogen fuel cells are mostly carbon supported platinum catalysts or carbon supported platinum based alloy catalysts. This type of catalyst has a higher price, and during use,the activity of the catalytic oxygen reduction reaction gradually decreases, therefore,it is necessary to search for low platinum catalysts with higher activity and stronger stability.Based on the common oxygen reduction reaction catalysts in hydrogen fuel cells, this paper reviews the research progress of platinum based catalyst preparation methods, and points out the key technical issues for achieving low cost and high performance of platinum based catalysts,in order to provide new ideas for the development and preparation of high-performance and low-cost catalysts for hydrogen fuel cells.
