In order to explore the influencing factors and mechanisms of methane content in landfill gas from informal landfills,four informal landfills are selected for long-term tracking and sampling analysis of their garbage and landfill gas components in this experiment.The results indicate that implementing site closure measures can significantly increase the methane content of landfill gas.The methane content of landfill gas is positively correlated with the monthly average temperature,as the temperature rises,compared to the lowest and average methane content,the highest methane content at each stacking point increases the most.Research has shown that implementing closure measures and constructing cover layers are the priority choices for managing and operating informal landfills.
