Characteristics of Soil Heavy Metal Pollution and Ecological and Health Risk Assessment in Changsha City
In order to gain a deeper understanding of soil heavy metal pollution in Changsha city, the pollution characteristics of five heavy metals(Cd,Hg,As,Pb,and Cr)at 287 soil sampling points in the study area are analyzed, and the potential ecological risk index method is used to evaluate potential ecological risks, and a human health risk assessment model is used to assess human health risks. The results show that in the study area, except for Cd,the overall content of the other four heavy metals is not high;the ecological risk ranking of each heavy metal is Cd>Hg>As>Pb>Cr,among which Cd has extremely strong potential ecological risks, and the comprehensive potential ecological risks of the five heavy metals are at a strong level;five soil heavy metals have a lower non carcinogenic risk for adults and a certain non carcinogenic risk for children.Through comparison of exposure pathways, soil heavy metals mainly pose a non carcinogenic risk to adults and children through oral ingestion.
