Experimental Study on Atmospheric Pressure Acid Leaching of Sulfide Nickel Concentrate
For the sulfide nickel concentrate obtained by flotation, the atmospheric pressure chloride-oxygen enhanced sulfuric acid leaching process is adopted for treatment, and the leaching behavior of nickel, copper, and iron is studied, and the effects of factors such as raw ore particle size, sulfuric acid dosage, leaching temperature, oxygen flow rate, chloride ion concentration, reaction time, and liquid-solid ratio are examined to determine the optimal process conditions for atmospheric pressure acid leaching of sulfide nickel concentrate. The results show that under the optimal process conditions, the proportion of particles with original ore particle size less than 20 μm is 81.05%,the amount of sulfuric acid used is 500 kg/t of ore,the leaching temperature is 95℃,the oxygen flow rate is 300 mL/(L·min),the chloride ion concentration is 30 g/L,the leaching time is 10 h,the liquid-solid ratio is 5,and the leaching rates of nickel, copper, and iron are 95.79%,93.59%,and 19.04%,respectively.
