Experimental Study on Harmless Treatment and Resource Utilization of Chromium Residue
In order to achieve environmentally friendly treatment of chromium slag, harmless and resourceful treatment experiments were conducted on chromium slag hazardous waste. The experimental results show that under the conditions of 1%activated carbon dosage,2.0 chromium reducing agent dosage, and 10%sodium silicate dosage, harmless treatment of chromium slag hazardous waste can reduce the concentration of hexavalent chromium in chromium slag to below 5 mg/L,meeting the environmental discharge standards. The indicators of iron, aluminum, magnesium, calcium, sulfur, compressive strength, particle size range ratio of 10~50 mm,hexavalent chromium concentration, and total chromium concentration in iron aluminum based composite materials all meet the relevant requirements.
