Research Progress on Comprehensive Utilization of Tailings in Luanchuan County
Luanchuan county is rich in mineral resources and has many tailings ponds.Based on the investigation results of the tailings pond in Luanchuan county,the research progress is summarized on the comprehensive utilization of molybdenum tungsten,lead zinc,gold,and iron tailings,and the optimization strategies are proposed for the comprehensive utilization of tailings,thus providing technical guidance for the resource utilization,reduction,and harmless disposal of solid waste in mines.At present,there are three main ways of comprehensive utilization of tailings,namely valuable metal element extraction,valuable nonmetallic element extraction,and tailings building material utilization.In the future,it is necessary to increase research investment and develop new comprehensive utilization processes for tailings;promote in-situ backfilling of tailings and restore the regional ecological environment;strengthen cascade utilization and achieve complete consumption of tailings.
