Review of Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction in Aeration Systems of Sewage Treatment Plants
The energy-saving of aeration system is the key to carbon reduction in sewage treatment plants,and studying the energy-saving of aeration system is of great significance for promoting carbon reduction in the sewage treatment industry.The reasons for the high energy consumption of aeration systems is analyzed in sewage treatment plants in China,and the main technical approaches for energy conservation are summarized in aeration systems,thus providing reference for low-carbon operation of aeration systems in sewage treatment plants.After analysis,there are three main reasons,namely low inlet load,unreasonable configuration of aeration equipment and push flow mixing equipment,and low efficiency of aeration equipment.There are three main technical approaches,namely using high-efficiency aeration equipment for replacement,replacing surface aeration with bottom microporous aeration,and carrying out intermittent aeration and precise aeration.
