Analysis of Influencing Factors on Changes in Total Phosphorus Concentration in Datong Lake
Datong lake is an inner lake formed by the dismemberment of embankments in Dongting lake,it is a natural barrier to maintain the ecological security of south Dongting lake, but the problem of excessive total phosphorus is prominent. The data is collected on water quality, hydrology, meteorology, and external pollutant inputs in the Datong lake basin in recent years, and the correlation between different water environmental impact factors is analyzed, and the effects of seasonal changes, external pollutant inputs, and water level changes on the total phosphorus concentration are clarified in the water body. The results indicate that the total phosphorus concentration in Datong lake is influenced by factors such as water temperature, water level, turbidity, algal blooms, and the discharge of aquaculture wastewater. In order to promote the stable and positive development of water quality in Datong lake and protect the ecological environment of the lake area,it is necessary to strengthen the treatment of agricultural non-point source pollution such as tail water from surrounding planting and breeding, reduce pollutants entering the lake, strengthen water system connectivity, enhance the fluidity of rivers and lakes, purify endogenous pollutants, and form an adjustable, controllable, and interconnected water network system.
