Study on Preparation of Magnetic Fe3O4/Mullite Ceramic Particle Composite Materials
Coal gangue is the solid waste discharged during coal mining and washing processes, and is currently the largest industrial waste residue in China in terms of annual emissions and cumulative storage.Coal gangue can be used to prepare heavy metal adsorption materials, achieving waste treatment by waste. The experiment sinters coal gangue into ceramic particles at a temperature of 1 200℃,then immerses the ceramic particles in different concentrations of iron nitrate solution, separates the ceramic particles and dries them, and uses a tube furnace for hydrogen reduction treatment to obtain magnetic Fe3O4/mullite ceramic particle composite materials, and studies the phase, microstructure, magnetic properties, and density of the ceramic particle composite materials. The results show that the phase composition of the ceramic particle loaded material is Fe3O4,as a precursor solution, the higher the concentration of iron nitrate solution, the stronger the magnetic properties of the ceramic particle composite material, confirming the feasibility of the loading process.
