Analysis of the Impact of Climate Change and Human Activities on the Hydrological Situation in the Upper Reaches of the Dongjiang River Basin
The Dongjiang River basin is one of the important water resource supply areas in South China. However,in recent years, climate change and human activities have had a significant impact on the hydrological regime of the basin. The study of the mechanisms and trends of climate change and human activities on the hydrological regimes in the upper reaches of the Dongjiang River basin and the challenges they pose to water resources management reveals that changes in the hydrological regimes due to climate change and human activities have already had significant impacts on the ecological environment and socio-economics of the upper reaches of the Dongjiang River basin. In order to effectively address this challenge, there is a need to strengthen the monitoring and prediction of climate change and human activities, implement integrated management measures, improve the efficiency of water resources utilization, and promote the sustainable development of hydrological regimes in the upper reaches of the Dongjiang River basin.
