Urban biodiversity is of great significance for maintaining urban ecological security,ensuring urban ecological balance,and improving urban living environment.In the context of rapid urbanization,protecting urban biodiversity is an important foundation for achieving sustainable urban development.Taking Jinghu new district,the main urban area of Shaoxing city,as an example,a biodiversity survey was carried out to analyze the current status of biodiversity and existing problems,and to propose corresponding countermeasures,in order to provide reference for the protection of biodiversity in Jinghu new district.
