Analysis of Phytoplankton Changes during the Construction and Operation Periods of the Tongzilin Hydropower Station on the Yalong River
The Yalong River has abundant hydropower resources, and the Tongzilin Hydropower Station is located at the downstream of the basin, with relatively little research on planktonic algae. It is necessary to monitor the physical and chemical properties of the water body during the construction and operation periods of Tongzilin Hydropower Station, and analyze the changes in planktonic algae.Research has found that the water quality during the construction and operation periods is classified as Class Ⅰ~Ⅱ,with diatoms being the main group;during operation, the number of planktonic algae decreases, but their density and biomass increase;pH and Total Nitrogen(TN)is the limiting environmental factor, while Permanganate Value(PV)is the inhibitory environmental factor. Therefore,it is crucial to continuously monitor the physical and chemical properties of water bodies and changes in phytoplankton, while paying attention to pH and TN content.
