Research on Low-Carbon Campus Behavior of Medical Students Based on Carbon Footprint
"Clothing, food, housing, and usage"are the endpoints of university students'life activities, and also the ultimate source of carbon emissions. In order to connect medicine and low carbon, this study adopts a questionnaire survey to collect the low carbon campus behaviors of medical students,to calculate the carbon footprints of their daily life behaviors in the four aspects of"clothing, food, housing, and usage",to analyze the characteristics, and to propose the corresponding low carbon behaviors. The results of the survey show that medical students have the largest carbon footprint in"food",followed by"clothing",and need to further improve their low carbon awareness and low carbon campus behaviors on medical campuses,so as to provide suggestions for the construction of a low carbon medical school and green medicine at a later stage.
