Surface Properties and Flotation Research of Carbon Rich Gasification Slag
Gasification slag is the main solid waste in the coal chemical industry, and with the help of beneficiation means, the unburned carbon and silicate phases in gasification slag can be effectively separated to increase its industrial utilization value. The specific surface area, infrared spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy of gasification slag reelected concentrate(carbon-rich gasification slag)were analyzed, and the floatable behavior of gasification slag was studied. The test results showed that the specific surface area of the carbon-rich gasification slag was 286.32 m2/g,the average pore size was 3.30 nm,and its surface contained a large number of oxygen-containing functional groups, with the contents of carbon atoms and oxygen atoms of 52.32%and 42.42%,respectively,and the surface hydrophilicity was high. The best flotation effect was achieved by using methyl laurate and kerosene compound collector+sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate+two-step flotation method, with a concentrate ash content of 27.47%and a concentrate yield of 8.23%.
