Study on Effects of Different Soil and Water Conservation Interventions on Soil Erosion
Taking the Fujiang River Basin in Mianyang city as an example, this study investigates the impact of different soil and water conservation interventions on soil erosion. The research results indicate that the soil loss of the four intervention measures ranges from high to low as follows:no land intervention measures>land intervention measures>pasture intervention measures>willow intervention measures.Among them, the willow intervention measures resulted in the lowest soil loss in cultivated land, while those without and with land intervention measures had higher soil loss.By taking appropriate land intervention measures, such as building embankments with ditches and planting willow trees, surface runoff and drainage can be significantly reduced, achieving the goal of soil and water conservation.
