Green and low-carbon development in the energy sector is a key measure for ASEAN countries,China,Japan,and South Korea to move towards carbon neutrality,but it still faces problems such as technological backwardness and funding shortages.By using the China's Climate Change Integrated Assessment Model(C3IAM),the low-carbon development path in the energy sector of ASEAN countries,China,Japan,and South Korea is predicted,and then the case analysis is conducted to clarify the challenges faced by low-carbon development in the energy sector and provide suggestions,thus accelerating the promotion of green and low-carbon development in the energy sector.
