Incorporating greenhouse gas emissions into environmental impact assessments is an effective means of promoting synergistic efficiency in pollution reduction and carbon reduction,as well as promoting green economic and social development.On the basis of summarizing the pilot work of incorporating greenhouse gas emissions into environmental impact assessments in Shandong,this paper summarizes the experience and practices of integrating greenhouse gas emissions with current environmental management systems and constructing accounting and evaluation systems.Taking an environmental impact assessment project of a steel enterprise in Shandong as an example,the effectiveness of the pilot work is verified,and follow-up work suggestions are proposed from strengthening the support of higher-level laws,improving institutional integration,and deepening technical method research.
