Chemical Characteristics of Fenton Reagent in the Purification of Restaurant Sewage
Taking the catering wastewater from the canteen of a university in Anhui Province as the research object, the effects of Fe2+and H2O2 dosing order,Fe2+and H2O2 dosing ratio,pH value, temperature and reaction time of Fenton's reagent on the effect of this kind of wastewater treatment were analyzed by using the one-factor control and response surface method. The results showed that the removal rate of Chemical Oxygen Demand(COD)was up to 80.5%when the Fenton reagent was added in the order of Fe2+and then H2O2,and the Fe2+to H2O2 addition ratio was 4∶6,the pH value ranged from 3~4,the temperature was 30 ℃,and the reaction time was 60 min.At the same time, the response surface analysis was used to optimize the experimental conditions, and the optimal conditions were Fe2+to H2O2 dosing ratio of 7:9,pH of 4.19,temperature of 60 ℃,and reaction time of 60 min,and the removal rate of COD could reach 86.8%under these predicted conditions.
