Research and Application of a New Environmentally Friendly Ceramic Filter Cleaning Agent
Ceramic filter is one of the commonly used equipment in the dewatering process of mineral processing plants,in order to prevent blockage of the orifice plate,nitric acid is usually used to clean the ceramic plate.With the increasing demand for safety and environmental protection,the development of new cleaning agents with lower risk to replace nitric acid has become the mainstream trend.At present,there is no recognized product that can match the cleaning effect and adaptability of nitric acid,and the development of new cleaning agents is still in its early stages.The scanning electron microscopy is used to conduct phase analysis on the clogging samples of ceramic filter plates in a copper ore beneficiation plant in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region(referred to as Inner Mongolia),the reasons for the clogging of the filter plates are thoroughly studied.Based on the composition and form of the blockage,combined with the current mainstream research and development ideas of cleaning agents,safer components are screened from basic raw materials,and three ceramic filter cleaning agents are designed with a certain ratio.According to the laboratory leaching test,BK810 has the best performance as a new type of ceramic filter cleaning agent.On site industrial tests have shown that BK810 can achieve cleaning effects comparable to nitric acid.
