Geological Environment Assessment and Ecological Restoration Strategies in Mining Areas
The exploitation of mineral resources can promote economic and social development, but it can damage the regional ecological environment and reduce the carrying capacity of the ecological environment. The mining area needs to conduct geological environment assessment,in order to implement ecological restoration.Taking a certain open-pit mine in Shenyang city as an example, based on comprehensive geological survey data, the geological environment of the mining area is assessed, and then an ecological restoration plan is proposed.According to the degree of harm, implementing geological environment zoning management in mining areas can eliminate the risk of geological hazards. The research results can provide technical support for the sustainable development of the ecological environment in mining areas and the rational development of mining resources, and can also provide reference for ecological restoration in similar mining areas.
