Research on Low-Carbon Electrical Design in Sewage Treatment Plants under the"Double Carbon"Goal
Taking a newly constructed sewage treatment plant in Shenzhen as an example, this study explores low-carbon electrical design based on the"Double Carbon"goal.By scientifically calculating load and selecting appropriate transformer capacity, the power distribution system is optimized to enhance energy efficiency.Variable frequency drive technology significantly reduces energy consumption of key equipment, while dynamic reactive power compensation and active filtering devices improve power quality, reducing energy loss and harmonic impact. The integration of a photovoltaic power generation system achieves"self-generation for self-use with excess power fed to the grid,"further lowering energy consumption and carbon emissions. The benefit evaluation results show that adopting low-carbon measures can effectively save electricity costs, reduce carbon emissions, and provide strong support for the low-carbon development of sewage treatment plants.
