Simulation Study on Pollution Load of Rainfall Runoff in Urban Area
Carrying out simulation of urban rainfall pollution load can provide decision-making basis for the comprehensive treatment of urban water environment.Taking the catchment area of Datong ditch in Haikou city,Hainan province as the study object,a simulation model of pollutant load in urban surface runoff is established and the model parameters are calibrated using on-site monitoring data. The Chemical Oxygen Demand(COD)and 5-Biochemical Oxygen Demand(BOD5)pollutant loads and cumulative processes is simulated based on the model during a typical rainfall process. The results show that the cumulative load of pollutants increases rapidly from 0 to 20 min and then stabilizes; The contribution of pollutant load from the types of residential roads/communities underlying surface type is the largest, accounting for more than 98%of the total pollutant load in the entire area.
