Study on the Thermo Gravimetric Performance of Industrial Indicators for Hazardous Waste
The industrial indicators of hazardous waste include moisture, volatile matter, fixed carbon, and ash content, and their thermo gravimetric performance has a significant impact on the compatibility and process adjustment of rotary kiln hazardous waste disposal. The thermal gravimetric properties of three simulated substances, five complex hazardous wastes, and seven typical hazardous wastes are studied in the experiment. The results indicate that the quality loss of hazardous waste can be divided into three stages, the temperature of the water loss stage is 200~300℃,the temperature of the volatile matter loss stage is 450~543℃,and the temperature of the fixed carbon loss stage is 759~774℃.Moisture drying and volatile matter volatilization may occur simultaneously, resulting in rapid weight loss, and volatile matter volatilization and fixed carbon burnout will not occur simultaneously, while fixed carbon weight loss is slower. The weight loss of hazardous waste moisture and volatile matter accounts for 10%~20%of the total time, while the weight loss of fixed carbon accounts for 80%~90%of the total time.During the compatibility process,it is important to ensure proper control of industrial indicators.Overall, the moisture content should be less than 20%,the volatile matter content should be 50%~70%,the fixed carbon content should be 5%~10%,and the ash content should be 15%~20%.The research results can guide the compatibility of hazardous waste disposal processes in rotary kilns and adjust incineration processes.
