The prevention and control of noise pollution in Guangdong province is facing a very serious situation.In recent years,complaints about noise disturbance have consistently ranked among the top two environmental factors in Guangdong province.The article summarizes the current situation of noise pollution prevention and control in Guangdong province from four aspects:functional zoning of sound environment,noise monitoring system,noise pollution prevention and control system,and supervision and management of noise pollution prevention and control.It points out the factors that restrict the improvement of noise pollution prevention and control level in Guangdong province and proposes targeted improvement measures.
