Analysis of Influencing Factors of Dissolved Oxygen in A Typical Deep Reservoir in Temperate Regions of China—Take Laoshan Reservoir as An Example
To explore the influence of environmental factors and hydrochemical indicators on dissolved oxygen in temperate deep-water lakes and reservoirs, combined with the automatic and manual historical monitoring data from the national control station of Laoshan Reservoir in 2021,the changes in dissolved oxygen concentration characteristics and main influencing factors were analyzed. The research results showed that in 2021,the dissolved oxygen concentration in Laoshan Reservoir showed a higher trend in winter and spring than in summer and autumn.Low oxygen data[Dissolved Oxygen(DO)less than 5 mg/L]mainly occurred from June to October, with early morning, afternoon, and evening being important moments for low oxygen occurrence.Through correlation analysis of influencing factors such as water temperature,pH,water depth, plankton, nutritional status index, external water replenishment and other chemical indicators, and sunshine duration,it was found that the presence of a variable temperature layer, also known as water depth,is the main reason for the low dissolved oxygen automatic monitoring data in the summer and autumn seasons of Laoshan Reservoir.Floating biological activity has a direct impact on dissolved oxygen concentration.
