Research on the Investigation and Evaluation of Soil Radioactivity Contamination in a Tantalum-Niobium Smelter Plot
Taking a tantalum niobium smelter as an example, based on the comprehensive analysis of the site environmental investigation data and referring to the Technical Specifications for Radiation Environmental Monitoring(HJ 61-2021)and other standards,it is determined whether the site needs to carry out rehabilitation projects. The results show that the surface gamma radiation dose rate of the tantalum-niobium smelter appears to be normal, but the residual radionuclide content in the deep soil still does not meet the requirements of the unrestricted open site.Through scientific and systematic investigation and analysis, the radioactive status of the plot can be fully understood, laying a solid foundation for future restoration, governance and reuse, and providing a model and operational guide for the environmental management of similar projects.
