Study on the Application of Immobilized Microorganism Technology in the Remediation of Black and Odorous Water Body Sediments
The immobilized microorganism technology has the advantages of high efficiency,environmental protection,and economy,and can be applied to the remediation of black and odorous water body sediments.Taking the black and odorous river regulation project in Changzhou city,Jiangsu province as an example,the application effect of immobilized microorganism technology is explored in the remediation of urban black and odorous water body sediments.The experiment selects the Shizi River as the site and lasts for 150 d,and Zeolite is used as a carrier to fix photosynthetic bacteria,and real-time monitoring of sediment and overlying water is conducted.The results show that the organic matter and heavy metal contents such as Cu,Zn,Ni,Pb,Cd,Cr in the sediment are significantly reduced,the removal rates of Chemical Oxygen Demand(COD),ammonia nitrogen(NH3-N),Total Nitrogen(TN),and Total Phosphorus(TP)in the overlying water are significantly improved,proving that this technology can effectively improve water quality and enhance the self purification capacity of water bodies.Research has shown that carrier microbial technology can increase bacterial density,avoid bacterial loss,and provide a long-term method for the treatment of urban black and odorous water body sediments.
