The article aimed to reduce the dosage of enhancing auxiliary materials,and explored the methods to decrease the dosage of dry strength agents and improve the pulping and papermaking process in the production of white top linerboard.Six Sigma tool was used to ana-lyze and verify the factors affecting the dosage of dry strength agents,and process parameters were optimized by conducting DOE(Design of Experiments)test designs for key factors,after optimization,there were a reduction of 7 kg of dry strength agents per ton of paper,a cost re-duction of 19 RMB per ton of paper,and an annual cost saving of 1 million RMB on the production line.
