Review of Recyclability Test Methods of Paper-based Packaging
Waste paper resources are the most important part of papermaking materials in China.Evaluating paper-based packaging for recy-clability,and sorting the waste paper according to the recyclability level can effectively promote the recycle efficiency of waste paper resourc-es.Developed countries such as European countries and USA had carried out research on recyclability test methods for paper-based packag-ing,developed and established a number of recyclability test methods.In recent years,China had also begun to carry out research on the re-cyclability test of paper-based packaging,and two relevant standards had been issued.This paper introduced the establishment background,method principle,process,and test mechanism of the main recyclability test methods for paper-based packaging at home and abroad,and analyzed the technical characteristics of different methods.Finally,the future development of recyclability test methods for paper-based packaging was prospected.
