Study on Improving the Physical Properties of Heat-not-Burn Reconstituted Tobacco Sheet
Heat-not-burn reconstituted tobacco sheet is a new type of reconstituted tobacco sheet, and its preparation methods mainly include slurry processed, roll pressing and papermaking.A certain amount of wood pulp fiber should be added to ensure that the reconstituted tobacco sheet has good forming and processing resistance. In this study, the application of wood pulp fibers with different refining degrees in the preparation of heat-not-bum reconstituted tobacco sheet by slurry processed method was studied, and the effects of wood pulp fibers on the slurry properties and physical properties of reconstituted tobacco sheet were investigated. The results showed that increasing the refining degree of wood pulp fibers was beneficial to the decrease of thick pulp's viscosity. When the refining degree of wood pulp fibers was 49 °SR,the strength properties of heat-not-burn reconstituted tobacco sheet were relatively better. The strength properties of wood pulp increased with the increase of wood pulp content from 2%to 5%,and the highest tensile index reached 3.62 N*m/g.
