Study on Preparation of Furfural Residue-based Magnetic Porous Carbon and Its Adsorption Properties
The magnetic porous carbon was prepared using furfural residue as raw material by impregnation with nickel chloride and activation with zinc chloride. The results showed that the prepared porous carbon was magnetic with rich functional groups and many pores. When the mass ratio of raw material after impregnation to zinc chloride was 1:2,the specific surface area could reach 1051 m2/g.The adsorption capaci-ty of methylene blue could be as high as 732.5 mg/g at 45 ℃,and the adsorption process conformed to the pseudo second-order kinetic and Langmuir isothermal adsorption models.
