Research Progress on Aromatic Compounds Derived from Lignin Oxidative Depolymerization
Lignin,as the most abundant renewable aromatic polymer resources in nature, has a complex three-dimensional network structure and stubborn resistance, making it difficult to achieve high-value utilization.Approximately 90%of industrial lignin worldwide is directly used for combustion and power generation, resulting in significant waste of resources. The oxidation and depolymerization of lignin into aro-matic compounds is an important means for its high-value utilization.Based on an introduction to the structure and types of lignin, this paper reviewed the research progress of aromatic compounds derived from lignin oxidative depolymerization, mainly from four aspects:chemical ca-talysis oxidative, electrochemical oxidative, biological catalysis oxidative depolymerization of lignin and oxidative depolymerization products. At the same time, the advantages, disadvantages, and application scope of various oxidative depolymerization methods were analyzed, and the selectivity effects of different oxidative depolymerization methods on lignin derived products were summarized.
