Study on the improvement of intergranular corrosion bending cracks in austenitic stainless steel castings
Through the detection of intergranular corrosion bending cracks in austenitic stainless steel casting materials, against the relevant testing standards, found that non-metallic inclusions and shrinkage is the root cause of intergranular corrosion bending samples to produce cracks, and specimen processing and testing is not standardized to further reduce the intergranular corrosion bending compliance rate.To this end,it is proposed to improve the purity of castings to reduce non-metallic inclusions, improve the casting density to reduce the shrinkage and standardize the bending specimen processing quality and processing dimensions, the detection of the bending indenter diameter of the correct choice,to improve the austenitic intergranular corrosion bending crack compliance rate, improve the quality of the castings.
