针对WP10缸盖铸件毛坯由于铸造工艺设计不合理而导致的铸件废品率较高的情况,对WP10缸盖铸造缺陷进行了分析,对其铸造工艺进行改进,通过修改浇注系统截面积、增加气眼针、增加气眼针高度以及增加局部壁厚等方法,有效地降低了铸件的废品率.
WP10 cylinder head casting defect analysis and process improvement
In view of the high rejection rate of castings caused by the unreasonable casting process de-sign of WP10 cylinder head castings,the casting defects of WP10 cylinder head were analyzed,and the casting process was improved,and the scrap rate of castings was effectively reduced by modifying the cross-sectional area of the gating system,increasing the air eye needle,increasing the height of the air eye needle and increasing the local wall thickness.
