Based on the basic principle of ultrasonic propagation and reflection in specific materials,it is often used to detect surface and internal defects in workpieces,characterize the internal structure and characteristics of materials,and measure material thickness.For the non-destructive testing of the cam-ber wall thickness of iron castings,it is necessary to consider the acoustic attenuation of the heteroge-neous graphite structure,as well as the shape and direction of the probe,and determine the non-de-structive testing method through verification analysis,which can control the detection error within 2%.
