This dissertation studies the role of virtual reality (VR)technology towards event management efficiency in China's MICE industry due to the extensive application of VR technology across various industries nowadays.To achieve the research aim and objectives,this research has incorporated the qualitative re-search approach,specifically the in-depth interview method where a total of 5 respondents have been interviewed to derive insights on the research.This research finds that the advantages of VR integra-tion in general are efficiency,experience and mobility.However, despite the efficiency of VR technology,the efficiency of integrating it into the MICE industry may not be as perfect as it seems because of the Chinese culture and norms within the society.
