"Trinity"treatment strategy for multiple bone trauma and its application
The complex treatment of multiple bone trauma, with numerous postoperative complications and high mortality, poses a serious threat to patients'quality of life, being a major challenge in the field of orthopedic trauma.Currently, the traditional single-discipline treatment mode and localized management strategies are not sufficient enough to meet the increasingly complex needs of treating multiple bone trauma, highlighting an urgent need for reform. Our team proposed a"trinity"strategy for the management of multiple bone trauma.According to the strategy, the treatment process is divided into three stages including first aid, remodeling, and rehabilitation, with the core goals of saving lives, restoring anatomy, and recovering function respectively. The entire process of diagnosis and treatment adheres to the"patient-centered,problem-oriented,and evidence-based"idea with multidisciplinary collaboration, technology integration, process optimization, and full utilization of overall effects. This strategy has positive effects in reducing complications, decreasing mortality, promoting fracture healing, and improving functional recovery, thus providing new approaches and methods for the treatment of multiple bone trauma. To this end,the authors elaborated on the core content of the"trinity"treatment strategy for multiple bone trauma and its application, aiming to enhance the treatment outcome of multiple bone trauma and promote patients'recovery.
